We are thrilled to announce our inaugural exhibition, taking place from May 6th to 15th at Church House in Wimborne. This Spring-Summer showcase will present an exceptional collection of works by some of Dorset’s finest artists. We warmly invite you to visit and immerse yourself in the very best of local artistry.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience a stunning array of works by:

· Ian Hargreaves
· Ben Winter
· Cliff Towler
· Julie Vatcher
· Kim Pragnell
· Philippa Headley
· Jenny Sutton

· Janet Bourne
Among the exceptional talents featured, Cathy Veale stands out for her striking large-scale seascapes. Her work, rich in luminosity and colour, captures the essence of the sea with remarkable depth and texture. Raised in the Isle of Purbeck, Veale’s paintings are deeply influenced by the dramatic beauty of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, and she has exhibited widely, including with the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
Also showcasing is Ian Hargreaves, an internationally recognised painter whose artistic journey has taken him across Europe. Hargreaves’ work has been exhibited in England, Germany, and the United States, including prestigious venues such as the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. His evocative depictions of landscapes and cityscapes have earned him numerous accolades.
Wildlife artist Cliff Towler brings his passion for nature to the exhibition with his exquisitely detailed animal and bird paintings. Using a combination of mixed media, acrylic and oil, Towler captures fleeting moments in nature, inspired by his extensive observational walks around Dorset’s landscapes.
Other exhibiting artists bring an equally impressive range of styles, from traditional to contemporary, ensuring an engaging and varied experience for visitors.
Art enthusiasts and collectors are warmly invited to explore this exceptional exhibition, meet the artists, and experience the breathtaking artistry that Dorset has to offer.
